Lucas and Charlotte

I (Lucas) am a PhD student studying experimental nuclear and particle physics. I grew up in Washington State and did my undergrad in Seattle. I love the outdoors—morning sanity runs, afternoon sailing on the Charles, and weekends hiking, trail running, and backcountry skiing in the White Mountains (or back home in Washington when I get the chance). Otherwise, I enjoy cooking and hardware/electrical projects.

And I’m Charlotte, and I just wrapped up my PhD in mechanical engineering at MIT! I’m originally from Atlanta but have been in Cambridge since undergrad at MIT. I love being outside, building things, and challenging myself. You can often find me running bridge loops, cross country skiing on Briggs, fastpacking in the Whites, repairing my bikes, machining, or baking!
